Read 5 Then Decide:
Join kids across the state of Texas by reading at least 5 of these selected books by mid January. Students that read 5 will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite book. The book with the most votes from the students across Texas will be named the 2014-2015 Bluebonnet Book of the Year!!
The 2014-2015 AV Cato Bluebonnet Book Challenge:
Students who read:
5 books: Sign their name on the Bluebonnet bulletin board in the library
10 books: Earn one ticket for book drawing
15 books: Earn 5 tickets for book drawing; certificate of recognition
20 books: "Blue" celebration party in the spring and 5 more tickets for book drawing; certificate of recognition
**Book drawing includes one hardback copy of the winning book and one hardback copy of the runner up.
Classes that read 5 books:
Get to select $50 worth of books for us to order for the library. A dedication sticker will be placed in the front of each book with the inscription, “This item was selected by Mrs. (or Mr.) So-and-So's Class of Bluebonnet Club readers.” That class gets first check out of the items purchased.
